Custom Red Cricket Ball Manufacturer – Test & First-Class
GHS Wears manufactures custom red cricket balls for cricket equipment brands and distributors. Produced in Sialkot, Pakistan, our red balls are the traditional match ball for Test, first-class and club four-day cricket — a product where Sialkot’s manufacturing heritage is as strong as anywhere in the world.
Premium Quality Custom Red Cricket Balls
The red cricket ball is the format’s defining piece of equipment — the quality of the leather, the integrity of the seam and the density of the core determine how consistently the ball swings in the first innings and reverse swings in the second. Our match-grade red balls use premium alum-tanned cowhide leather selected for close grain, correct moisture content and the hardness needed to maintain shape through a full 80-over spell before requiring replacement.
The six-row hand-stitched primary seam is built to stand up proud from the ball surface and maintain its height for as long as possible — a seam that flattens early removes one of the bowler’s primary wicket-taking tools. Our seam stitching is checked for stitch density and seam height consistency before each ball is packed.
Why Choose GHS Wears
Sialkot has been producing hand-stitched red cricket balls for international export since the early twentieth century. The craft knowledge accumulated over that period — leather selection, core density, seam construction — is embedded in our production team and is not easily replicated by general sports equipment factories outside this region.
Materials & Fabric Options
Premium alum-tanned cowhide leather in traditional red finish, solid cork and twine core, and hand-stitched six-row primary seam construction are standard across our match ball range. Training balls use the same construction at a lower leather grade for cost-effective practice use.
Customization & Printing Options
Custom brand stamping on the leather quarters in gold foil, and custom branded retail box packaging for distributor and retail-ready presentation.
Manufacturing Process
Core winding, leather quarter selection and matching, cementing, hand stitching and a final weight, size and seam height quality check before packing. Standard production runs 15-20 working days.
Low MOQ & Bulk Orders
Available in dozen-pack quantities for club orders, scaling to large bulk orders for equipment brands and distributors.
Applications / Who Can Order
Cricket equipment brands, first-class and club cricket clubs, distributors in the UK, Australia, South Asia and worldwide, and retailers supplying the club and recreational cricket market.
Frequently Asked Questions
How many overs should a match-grade red ball last?
Our match-grade red balls are built to the 80-over standard used in first-class cricket, after which a replacement ball is taken; training balls are built for practice use rather than full match duration.
Can you stamp our brand on the quarters?
Yes, gold foil brand stamping on the leather quarters and custom retail box branding are both available.
